Karlini Poster

"The Great Karlini" was the stage name of Ludwig Trinka, a Dutch magician born in 1907 who died in 1963. He performed in Berlin before World War II. He is best known today through a famous c. 1930 vintage lithographic advertising poster printed by Piller in Vienna, which featured his top-hatted face lit by a glowing wand and green smoke. - Vintage poster framed
